The unit we got was great-sized and fairly quiet with bathroom, airco, as example.

The staff - some of them were kind of rude.

The hotel's location was convenient, really close to centre as well as the city center.

Everything was simply perfectly fine. My stay was pleasant for one night. Got twin room when arrived, greatly enjoyed that. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and I had central heating, a work desk, and a flat screen cable TV. It was next to Brussels-Antwerp and the city centre, convenient and excellent location overall...

Good and excellent location of this FUNCTIONAL place, close to the outskirts of the town, centre and the the capital.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel located on the outskirts of the town. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Shakir at reception. The rooms were smart and clean, with a comfortable bed and hot water in the bathroom. There were nearby restaurants within a 10-minute walk, such as La Vista. Additionally, there was a nice walk along the adjacent canal, offering a pleasant view.

The hotel met standard: location was great and staff was friendly! Perfect for the city trip, in front of freeway. The bed was large and we liked our stay there. If you want to visit Tivolipark within just 15 minutes walk, this venue is a good place.

All staff was helpful. We ate at Den Biechtstoel, which is only 700 ft away, it suited our needs. We enjoyed Hobbit Hotel Mechelen. Room met needs well.

fine stay, as always. quiet and pleasant accommodation with perfect setting really close to centre of mechelen, mechelen, and the city center and the highway. incredibly nice and excellent staff, good service. variety of goodies for breakfast.

Comfy beds and easy to find. Just wished they had a coffee/tea station and maybe breakfast. But who needs breakfast anyway, right?

Hotel was kind enough to wake me up early with their construction noises. I guess drilling at 8.30 in the morning is just the perfect wake-up call for guests!

The bed was comfortable and clean, which allowed for a good night's sleep. The hotel's location was convenient as it provided easy access to major cities like Brussels and Antwerp. the friendly staff made us feel welcome and were helpful throughout our stay.

The limited parking spaces were mostly occupied by trucks, leaving us with little space to park our own vehicle. the noise from the nearby motorways was quite bothersome, especially when the windows were open.

The value for money at Hobbit Hotel was impressive, with smart and clean rooms, and hot water that was genuinely hot! The location was perfect for accessing Mechelen, Antwerp, and Brussels, with easy highway access and a safe. The staff, particularly Shakir at reception, were friendly and helpful, and even cooked us a delicious omelette for breakfast. The adjacent canal offered a lovely walk, and we found a fantastic seafood restaurant, La Vista, just a short 10-minute stroll away.

Convenient location close to major highways, clean room, friendly staff, free parking makes this hotel a great choice for a quick stopover while passing through this city. The breakfast was decent and filling enough to get me going for the day. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and enhanced my experience.

The hotel's decoration is charming and cozy, reminiscent of a quaint countryside cottage. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and provided comfortable seating, making it easy for me to rest and relax. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with easy access to the rooms and elevator, which was a relief for my tired legs.

I would have preferred if the children working there had a better knowledge of the local area and could provide helpful recommendations for senior-friendly activities and attractions.
